What we need from you
- 2+ years of professional residential cleaning experience — move-outs and/or Airbnb turnovers strongly preferred.
- Your own transportation and reliable access to your cleaning supplies.
- English communication (bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus — means more jobs).
- Reliability above all. No-shows and late arrivals end the working relationship. Clients depend on us, we depend on you.
- Willingness to take before/after photos at every job — protects you and the client.
- Pass a background check and provide two references.
How vetting works
- Phone screen (15 minutes) — we get to know each other and confirm fit.
- Reference calls — we speak with two prior employers or recurring clients.
- Background check via Checkr or similar — standard for residential work.
- Trial clean — a real job, paid at your full rate. We see how you work; you see how we operate.
- Onboarding — independent contractor agreement, BookingKoala dispatch setup, welcome packet with checklists and standards.
About 5–7 days from application to first paid job if everything checks out. Most of that is waiting on background check and references.
